Nature’s Light

On May 6th I had an opportunity to exhibit eight of my prints at an art exhibit which included all forms of art. The turnout was better than expected and now applying to show my work in arts museum. I had six eleven by fourteens and two larger canvas prints. Enjoying this journey anticipating where this may lead.

Transitioning full moon through Lunar eclipse, Nikon D7100 with Sigma 100-400 lens Sequence of shots with a lunar eclipse and the full moon in eclipse. Astrophotography can be challenging as quick as the scene changes

This year’s Flower Lunar Eclipse occurred May 15 and did not disappoint. Set the intervalometer to sequence at eight seconds my ISO from 400-2540 color corrected the backgrounds. The images of the moon received little editing. The Nikon D7100 does fairly well in low light even with Milky Way at 6400. I used my Sigma 100-400 4.5 and photographed them at 300mm and edited size later as needed.
